More Jobs, Better Jobs - New Job Feed

We just completed importing 90,000 job postings from the Direct Employer’s Exchange (aka Job Central.)  These jobs are from about 400 different companies that are members of Job Central.  We are excited because it means more and better career choices for our military veterans and military spouses.

Job Central is going to help us promote our career fairs - 68 nationally this year - to their member companies.  We are also collaborating on other ways to match deserving veterans with employment opportunities.

Check it out today - RecruitMilitary.

Thank you for hiring veterans.

Obama's Stimulus Means Law Enforcement is Hiring

The floodgates opened up on funding from the Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was signed into law a little more than two weeks ago.  And today, the Department of Justice announced $2 billion in law enforcement stimulus funding.

The money immediately flowed to the states, counties, and cities.  Pennyslvania picked up $72 million, New Jersey $48 million, Virginia $39 million, and so on.  The money is specifically to be used for equipment and hiring.

The news wire was flooded with reports across the country about agencies receiving funds.

So check with your local law enforcement agency - and apply around.  It looks like this sector, at least, is well funded and hiring.
