Helping veterans find civilian jobs is what we do. RecruitMilitary offers a whole smorgasbord of resources to make your job search as easy and successful as possible. So what should you do first? Well, I’m glad you asked.
To get started, here are a few steps I recommend you take.
.
1) Register in our database, upload your resume, and fill out your work/military experience. Employers search through our resume database all the time for qualified candidates to fill their positions. Registering puts your right in front of their eyes. To register, just go to www.RecruitMilitary.com and click “register now.”
2) Search our job board. We have over 377,000 jobs posted there, from companies and organizations looking to hire former military. Just type the kind of job you want and the location in the fields, and look through the list of jobs that return. You can do that here.
3) Attend one of our veteran-exclusive job fairs. We hold hiring events specifically for veterans all across the country. The events are a great way to network with fellow job-seeking veterans and companies who value the service and experience of former military. To check out our schedule and find and event near you, just visit our events page.
4) Check out our Education Center for school opportunities. We have a good variety available, and it’s a great place to look at all the info in one place. Also, be sure to check out our Franchise Center. We provide free franchise consulting for veterans interested in owning their own business (or veterans just curious about knowing more about franchising).
5) Remember, our services are free to veterans, and RecruitMilitary’s definition of a veteran is a bit different than the U.S. Government’s definition, so don’t assume you don’t qualify before checking (because you probably do qualify to use our services).
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let us know! These things should give you a great start, and you can also reach us through our Facebook page, Twitter account, or via email at support@recruitmilitary.com. We’re happy to help in any way we can.
Thank you for your service to our country!
