What Do the O-3’s Want to Do?
Former JMO’s have a wide variety of work interests, as shown in an article in the March/April 2010 issue of our Search & Employ print magazine. We searched our database of job seekers at www.recruitmilitary.com for the work interests of the largest group of JMO’s, the O-3’s—who are or were captains in the Army, Air Force, or Marines; or lieutenants in the Navy or Coast Guard. When we conducted the search, there were 15,244 O-3’s in the database.
When job seekers register for the database, they can select up to 10 work interests from 67 industries and occupations. Our search showed that the top interest was Management/Supervision, with 4,958 O-3’s expressing an interest in that occupation. In second place was Consulting, with 2,637 indications of interest; followed by Aerospace/Defense with 2,589; Public Sector/Government with 2,430; and Manufacturing/Operations/Production with 2,297.
